When you start learning Spanish, one of the first things you’ll practice is introducing yourself. In this lesson, you’ll learn simple phrases to say your name, where you’re from, and what you do. These are essential expressions you’ll use in real conversations from day one.
Talk About Yourself in Spanish
These are some common phrases to introduce yourself:

Me llamo... | My name is ... |
Soy de... | I am from... |
Vivo en... | I live in... |
Soy (profesión)... | I am (profession)... |
Trabajo como... | I work as... |
¿De dónde eres? | Where are you from? |
¿Cuál es tu profesión? | What is your profession? |
📌 Note: In Spanish, you can use both "Soy (profesión)" or "Trabajo como (profesión)" to talk about your job.
